The finished dog treats are usually kept in airtight packaging for around two weeks, and can also be frozen in portions to extend their shelf life. Here are three recipes to make great dog treats:

Bake dog treats with tuna

- 150 g of floury potatoes
- 100 g canned tuna (with juice, without oil, without salt)
- 100 g of oatmeal
- 50 g of flour
- 1-2 tablespoons of rapeseed oil

Cut the potatoes into small cubes and cook them in a saucepan with water for about 15 minutes. Then drain the water and mash the potato pieces into puree. Crush the tuna with a fork and mix it with the mashed potatoes. Then there are oatmeal, flour and rapeseed oil. Knead a dough from it and roll it out on a clean, floured work surface about a centimeter thick. Then you only need to cut out biscuit-shaped cookies and bake them at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 to 30 minutes.

Make liver sausage cookies for dogs yourself

- 200 g whole wheat flour
- 200 g whole grain oat flakes
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
